Job summary

Mercy Hill Church - Triad is seeking a part‑time FOH sound technician to manage front‑of‑house mixing for Sunday services and special events. You will handle audio routing, sound checks, and ensure high quality in a worship setting.

Ideal candidates will have experience with the listed Allen & Heath consoles, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work evenings and weekends as part of Essentials training and rehearsals.

Qualifications

• Ability to mix levels within the MH mix foundation.
• Comprehensive knowledge of FOH consoles listed.
• Attention to detail in audio quality and setup.

Responsibilities

• Run FOH sound for Sunday gatherings from 7am through the last service.
• Run FOH for special events as needed.
• Start up and shutdown all tech gear for the position.
• Attend Essentials training and band rehearsals as needed.

Job description

Summary of Position

Responsible for running FOH sound at weekly gatherings, ensuring that the audio quality of the mix is consistent, from service preparation and sound check to the close of the service, utilizing understanding of audio routing and ME’s.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Run FOH sound for Sunday gatherings, beginning at 7am band run-through until end of last service.
• Run FOH for special events as needed.
• Properly start up and shutdown all tech gear relating to position.
• Attend and support Essentials training and band rehearsals as needed.

Miscellaneous responsibilities may be assigned.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Allen & Heath GLD112, SQ6, and/or Qu16 consoles.
• Ability to pay close attention to detail.
