Job summary

City Winery is seeking an experienced Front of House Operations Manager to oversee daily restaurant/venue operations, lead service teams, and drive hospitality excellence. The role includes staff interviewing, training, scheduling, and promoting retail wine sales within a dynamic live-music setting.

You will ensure guest satisfaction, maintain cleanliness, and manage multiple revenue centers, with opportunities for career growth within a rapidly expanding entertainment and hospitality company.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in a multi-faced, high volume restaurant/venue or equivalent experience.
• Exceptional hospitality skills.
• Proven leadership and commitment to operational excellence.
• Strong analytical and data skills.
• Ability to multi-task, delegate, and manage several tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of health department regulations.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day restaurant and/or floor operations, assigning server sections and overseeing side work.
• Participate in interviewing, hiring, coaching/counseling, and separation of hourly employees.
• Ensure restaurant and venue are prepared and organized for daily operations.
• Manage staffing and operations of all revenue centers (venue, bar, service, private events).
• Prepare scheduling on a weekly basis.
• Oversee maintenance of the property and cleanliness.
• Resolve guest concerns with exemplary hospitality.
• Perform cash handling procedures as needed.
• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities.
