Job summary

Black Walnut Cafe in Texas is seeking energetic hospitality professionals for cashier and server roles. You will greet guests, take orders at the counter, and ensure accuracy and warmth in every interaction while the server role emphasizes guest experience and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or fast casual dining.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for 8 hours.

Responsibilities

At Black Walnut, we provide delicious food and outstanding handcrafted cocktails, with a guest ordering style that is considered fast casual. However, we aim to elevate the typical fast casual experience by delivering elevated hospitality surpassing our guests’ expectations. Our dining room team has two primary roles, and you will be trained to perform both roles.The Cashier role is responsible to greet our guests and take their order at the counter. They welcome our guest, make the guest feel comfortable, offer specific suggestions, guide the guest’s experience, and leave a positive impression.The Server role is to greet every guest in their assigned area of the restaurant, take ownership for the guest experience, food run, table maintenance and saying goodbye to our guest.
