Job summary

Rusty Pelican Tampa is seeking a Front of The House Supervisor to lead the dining room team, ensuring courteous, efficient, and attentive service that makes guests feel welcome and comfortable during their visit.

You will coach staff, manage room flow, handle guest recovery, and maintain high standards for food handling and presentation in a fast-paced environment. Evening and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversees the Dining Room Area and the supervision of all front of the house service team in accordance with operating policies during the course of their assigned shift.
• Join and reinforce daily pre-shift meetings and communicate daily priorities.
• Conducts guest table touches and assist with guest recovery.
• Serves as the eyes and ears of the management team on the floor, maintain a visible presence in the dining room.
• Coaches and supports team members on service standards.
• Helps maintain restaurant flow and communication between departments.
• Assists with team member check-ins and floor cuts.
• Processes approved comps and voids according to company guidelines.
• Supports managers in delivering consistent guest experiences.
• Responsible for ensuring that proper food handling procedures and presentation are being met by the team.
• Documents any work-related incidents, guest complaints, and guest and employee injuries to management.
• Ensures dining rooms, bars, patios, restrooms, and service areas remain immaculate.
• Ensures all FOH team members receive a timely and compliant meal break and rest break.
• Communicates any concerns with food and beverage cost and/or supplies.
