Job summary

The Buttery is seeking a Front of House Team Member to create a warm, welcoming guest experience. You’ll connect with guests, share knowledge of our food, beverages, and retail, and ensure every touchpoint feels hospitable—from greeting to checkout and beyond.

In this role you’ll cashier, run food, buss, and maintain displays, acting as a brand ambassador while upholding hospitality standards and a positive, team-oriented atmosphere.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in high-volume coffee or a customer-facing role preferred.
• Strong time management, organization, and communication skills for a fast-paced environment.
• Genuine passion for hospitality and great food/drink.
• Team-oriented, self-motivated, willing to support teammates.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and take accurate orders, handling transactions efficiently.
• Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely and presentable manner.
• Buss and reset tables to maintain a smooth service flow.
• Keep front-of-house areas clean, stocked, and inviting.
• Share knowledge of menu items and offer thoughtful recommendations to guests.
• Support team operations by restocking and communicating guest feedback to leadership.
• Uphold service standards by collaborating with team members and leads.
• Contribute to team growth through ongoing learning, especially about coffee and tea, and by assisting with training.
