Job summary

Henry County Water Authority is seeking a Compliance Inspector to perform inspections within the Industrial Monitoring Program and to ensure compliance with the Sewer Use Ordinance and applicable laws. Responsibilities

Assists in inspections and sampling of grease interceptors and oil and water separators.
Aids in reviewing records on permitted industry operation and activities; inspects grease/oil and water interceptors.
Helps with new grease/oil and water separator installation inspections.
Records inspection data into GIS-based software.
Participates in annual inspections of septage trucks.
Assists in surveillance of septic and FOG haulers by checking trucks and manifests as needed.
Maintains a database of HCWA Grease Management Program customers with inspections and maintenance records.
Maintains cooperative relationships with customers, coworkers and HCWA departments.
Maintains Authority vehicles and performs safety and maintenance checks.
