Job summary

FXI is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our production team. You will operate and maintain foam production equipment, monitor processes, and ensure product quality while interfacing with SAP for inventory management.

The role requires 3+ years in a production environment, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to operate heavy equipment such as cranes. You will inspect, label, and document production data to support efficient, safe operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in machine operation or related production environment.
• Proficiency with SAP or similar inventory management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify production defects.
• Knowledge of foam production processes and automated machinery.

Responsibilities

• Interact with SAP to generate inventory tags and verify bun accuracy.
• Estimate shrinkage and bun efficiency to maintain tag accuracy.
• Monitor foam block height and airflow during production for process control.
• Operate automated equipment such as cutoff saws, conveyors, and cranes.
• Observe foam production and promptly report defects and take corrective action.
• Label foam, cut samples, and record required information.
• Perform bun room walk-throughs and report findings to the supervisor.
• Maintain and clean equipment; operate slurry system for pours.
