Job summary

Morrison Cup Solutions in Oklahoma City is seeking a mechanically inclined individual to support the Foam Department. You will operate production machines, complete digital work orders, and lead operators to meet production targets.

The role requires adaptability to 10-hour shifts and teamwork across maintenance and management. The job emphasizes strong mechanical skills, reliability, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment.

Qualifications

• Have an understanding of manufacturing/machine operations.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Must be mechanically inclined.
• Basic knowledge of general tools and their uses.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to do simple math.
• Pallet jack and forklift experience a plus.
• Flexible work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Understand and accurately complete digital work orders using iPads and related systems
• Operate and run all assigned machines at designated production speeds
• Lead and direct operators while promoting teamwork and efficiency
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement effective solutions
• Monitor and maintain adequate supply levels for all materials required to operate machines
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including 10-hour shifts
• Maintain strong attention to detail with a focus on quality, accuracy, and safety
• Communicate effectively and collaborate with management, maintenance personnel, and fellow operators to support production goals
• Assist with packing product as needed
• Adjust machine settings (HMI and machine adjustments) to ensure products remain within specifications
• Assist with and monitor the pre-expansion process as needed
• Move pallets using pallet jacks
• Load boxes into case packers
• Monitor scrap levels and report issues as needed
• Assist with covering operator breaks and lunches
