Job summary

Elite Comfort Solutions, a Leggett & Platt Company, is seeking a Machine Operator II for a 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 6:00 PM–2:30 AM) to cut and slice foam to customer specs. Overtime likely; must maintain safety and quality in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating foam flow, inspecting blocks, measuring with tape, loading/unloading, and cross-training on multiple machines. High school diploma and prior machine operation experience preferred; ability to read specs

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old to perform this job.
• Experience operating machines and ability to read a tape measure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate foam flow and orders throughout production.
• Check tags and measure blocks before cutting to determine sizes.
• Report to lead at start of shift to determine what needs cutting or slit.
• Assist unloading machines when needed and re-measure after cutting to ensure size.
• Train new employees on various jobs as needed.
