Job summary

Johnston County Department of Social Services seeks an Income Maintenance Supervisor II to lead the FNS application processing team. You will supervise staff, ensure accurate and timely processing, and advise on complex eligibility issues using NC FAST.

Reporting to the Economic Services Program Manager, you will monitor performance, provide coaching, and implement corrective actions to meet standards while ensuring documentation and compliance across the unit.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of Food and Nutrition Services policies, rules, and procedures.
• Experience supervising staff and managing workloads.
• Ability to train and coach staff on eligibility processing and QA findings.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision, leadership, training, and oversight of FNS application processing staff.
• Monitor workload, timeliness, accuracy, and policy compliance for continuous improvement.
• Provide technical assistance on eligibility factors and NC FAST usage.
