Job summary
Palmetto Infusion in Hickory, NC is seeking a Clinical Nurse Practitioner to provide oversight for infusions in our ambulatory infusion centers. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; Saturdays as needed.
Service areas: Hickory and may float to other clinics as needed. Qualified candidates will be NP graduates with active NC license, experience in family practice, and proficiency with MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nurse practitioner program.
- Active Nurse Practitioner (FNP) license in the state(s) of practice.
- Experience in family physician setting; possesses strong knowledge of chronic disease states as well as current and emerging therapies.
- BLS or obtain upon hire.
- Proficient at partner programs (i.e.: MS Outlook, Word,Excel).
- Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a calmmanner.
- Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Palmetto Infusion team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with managing adverse drug reactions (ADRs).
- Oversee the infusions being administered in the AIC.
- Travel to other AICs when needed for staffing coverage.
- Maintains strong knowledge of all existing and developing infusion therapies.
