Job summary

Palmetto Infusion is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to oversee ambulatory infusion center staff under the Director of Clinical Services. You will ensure infusion services are safe, appropriate, and compliant with accreditation, regulatory and nursing standards. Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Saturdays as needed.

Service Location: Hickory, NC. This role emphasizes leadership, staff development, and maintaining a collaborative Palmetto Infusion team to deliver high-quality patient

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS or obtain upon hire.
• 1 year infusion experience.
• 1 year leadership experience.
• Proficient with partner programs (MS Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment under pressure in a calm manner.
• Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive relationships with Palmetto Infusion team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all direct patient care as well as operational oversight to ensure safety and compliance with accreditation, regulatory and nursing standards.
• Conduct annual performance appraisals to evaluate performance and provide direction for improvement.
• Maintain HR documentation related to personnel and matters involving direct reports.
• Collaborate with the Nurse educator on orientation of new staff and ongoing education needs.
• Provide effective communication so staff are informed of current and future information at Palmetto Infusion.
• Demonstrate knowledge of organization policies related to work standards and patient management.
