Job summary
Palmetto Infusion is seeking a Clinical Nurse Practitioner to provide oversight for infusions in our ambulatory infusion centers in Macon, GA. The role supports a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional Saturdays and may involve cross-site staffing coverage.
The ideal candidate is an experienced NP with a family practice background, proficient with common software, and able to navigate a dynamic clinical environment while maintaining patient-centered care.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nurse practitioner program and Active Nurse Practitioner (FNP) license in the state(s) of practice.
- Experience in family physician setting; possesses strong knowledge of chronic disease states and current therapies.
- BLS certification or obtain upon hire.
- Proficient with MS Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a calm manner.
- Must be able to work as a team member and develop cooperative working relationships with Palmetto Infusion team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with managing adverse drug reactions (ADRs).
- Assist with policy, procedure, and protocol development as needed.
- Work alongside nurses and other NPs/MDs as a team member.
- Perform nursing functions as needed.
- Oversee the infusions in the ambulatory infusion center (AIC).
- Travel to other AICs when needed for staffing coverage.
