Job summary

Citizant is seeking a Field Maintenance Command and Control (FMxC2) Cloud Engineer to design, implement, secure, automate, and support cloud infrastructure and platform services for the FMxC2 application. The role enables modernization, scalability, resiliency, security, and secure delivery through IaC, CI/CD, and deployment automation.

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of infrastructure, platform, systems, or cloud engineering experience.
• Experience deploying and supporting enterprise cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and automation solutions.
• Experience with containerized apps and orchestration platforms.
• Experience creating CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps processes.
• Understanding of cybersecurity concepts and cloud security.

Position Summary

Field Maintenance Command and Control (FMxC2) Cloud Engineer designs, implements, secures, automates, and supports cloud infrastructure and platform services supporting the FMxC2 application. This role enables application modernization, scalability, resiliency, security, and DevSecOps delivery. The Cloud Engineer plays a key role in cloud adoption, Infrastructure-as-Code implementation, CI/CD pipeline development, deployment automation, and secure application delivery.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of infrastructure, platform, systems, or cloud engineering experience.
• Experience deploying, managing, and supporting solutions within enterprise cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Cloud One, or similar platforms).
• Experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code and automation solutions.
• Experience supporting containerized applications and orchestration platforms.
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and DevSecOps processes within enterprise environments.
• Understanding of cybersecurity concepts, secure system design, and cloud security principles.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Local to Montgomery, AL.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance.
• Experience supporting FMxC2.
• Experience supporting Air Force logistics, maintenance, readiness, sustainment, or operational systems.
• Experience supporting DoD or Air Force programs.
• Experience supporting cloud migration and application modernization initiatives.
• Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies.
• Cloud-related certifications.
• Experience supporting cloud-based AI/ML services, automation frameworks, or infrastructure supporting AI-enabled solutions.
• SAFe Agile experience or certification.

Clearance Requirement

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
