Job summary

SAIC seeks an FMS Lead Systems Engineer to support PMA251 Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment programs. You will provide engineering support to customer FMS teams, integrating EMALS and AAG on the Future French Carrier, and deliver technical recommendations to PMA251 leadership.

The role requires 15+ years in systems engineering, strong stakeholder communication, and willingness to travel internationally. A US citizenship with ability to obtain a DOD Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering and 15+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of stakeholders both verbally and in writing.
• US Citizen with the ability to obtain a DOD Secret clearance.
• International travel is required.
• Experience supporting foreign military sales (FMS) and engineering leadership.
• Experience with SETR processes and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) in aviation domain.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze engineering documents for accuracy and compliance with FMS requirements.
• Coordinate meetings with Contractors and PMA domestic team.
• Prepare and track technical action items, and contribute to program databases.
• Coordinate with multiple disciplines to support baseline FMS program and ICDs.
• Review specifications, data packages, and provide technical recommendations on ECPs.
