Responsibilities

• Processes FMLA leave requests; coordinates with management, medical facilities and legal counsel.
• Reviews non-FMLA leaves; ensures documentation complies with policies and labor agreements.
• Responds to inquiries on department rules, codes and procedures for leaves of absence.
• Backups to Workers' Compensation Coordinator; handles claims and medical files.
