Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions is seeking a Journeyman Technician to maintain and monitor the FMCS, control panels, sensors, and related equipment at Moffett Field, CA. The role focuses on ensuring reliable operation of alarms and sequences, and on optimizing performance of the high-pressure steam plant.

An on-site position with opportunities to contribute to PM/RCM programs. Required are a high school diploma (or GED) and at least one Siemens Apogee course, plus a year of Building Automation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; one Siemens Apogee course completed.
• Journeyman Technician with at least 1 year experience on a Building Automation System (Siemens, Landis).
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, high-pressure boiler steam plant controls, and electronics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor FMCS control panels, equipment, sensors, and programming.
• Ensure reliability of alarms and sequences of operation.
• Monitor high-pressure steam plant and adjust controls for optimal performance.
• Replenish consumables and support PM/RCM activities.
• Provide training and update PM/RCM task lists as needed.
• Perform street light rounds and related duties.
