Job summary

Eco Material Technologies, a CRH Company, is seeking an Operator to safely operate plant equipment and perform site work per company procedures. Duties include loading/unloading materials, monitoring inventory, sampling, testing, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities cover promoting zero-injury culture, regular safety meetings, and coordinating with utility and production teams. Requires 1+ year in a related field and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a relevant field.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong safety and quality compliance.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Excellent verbal communication and teamwork.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.

Responsibilities

• Promote safe work habits to help create a zero-injury safety culture.
• Attend safety meetings and follow guidelines.
• Maintain communication with utility and supervise loading operations.
• Monitor fly ash levels in silos and place orders as needed.
• Collect samples for testing and perform required tests.
• Load and unload fly ash from silos to trucks, rail cars, or barges.
• Weigh trucks/rail cars and record data for billing.
• Operate loading equipment (e.g., forklift) and production equipment during start-up/shutdown.
• Assist with maintenance, repairs, and facility upkeep.
