Job summary

Aerotek is hiring welders and fitters for a steel shop in Spokane, WA. Will perform Flux Core Dual Shield welding on structural steel and run a high volume of fillet welds on I-beams, columns and other structural parts, reading blueprints daily.

This is a shop/production welding role with on-site work; overtime commonly available. 3+ years of experience with FCAW or hardwire preferred; AWS/WABO certification is a plus; pay ranges from $22 to $32+ per hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of welding experience required, combination of on-the-job and schooling OK.
• Must read prints, fit, and fabricate.
• FCAW/WABO or AWS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform Flux Core Dual Shield welding on structural steel.
• Run a high volume of fillet welds on I-beams, columns and structural parts.
• Work from blueprints; some material handling; shop/production environment.
