Job summary

Aerotek in Spokane, WA is seeking an experienced Flux Core Structural Steel Welder for a contract-to-hire position. You will perform Flux Core Dual Shield welding on structural steel, read blueprints, and handle a high volume of fillet welds on I-beams and columns.

Starting pay ranges from $22 to $32+ per hour depending on experience and a weld test; shifts include day and swing with overtime. Benefits such as medical, 401k, and payroll weekly are available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Flux Core welding experience or hardwire welding.
• Ability to read prints, fit and fabricate.
• FCAW WABO or AWS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform Flux Core Dual Shield welding on structural steel.
• Run a high volume of fillet welds on I-beams, columns, and other structural parts.
• Work from blueprints and assist with material handling as needed.
