Clearway Pain in Addison, TX is seeking a Radiology Technician/Procedure Care Tech to provide direct patient care in our ambulatory surgical center. You will enter patient intake and provider orders into the EMR, assist physicians with fluoroscopy, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.

Candidates must have a high school diploma, fluoroscopic certification, current BLS, and proficiency with MS Office.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least one (1) year of general fluoroscopy experience.
• Must possess current fluoroscopic certification/license.
• Proficient with Internet and MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong customer service.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with a flexible schedule.
• Knowledge of healthcare terminology and infection control standards.

Mansioni

• Enter patient intake and provider orders into the EMR.
• Position x-ray equipment and set exposure factors as requested by physician.
• Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain cooperation.
• Provide assistance to physicians in the performance of more complex procedures.
• Operate fluoroscopy equipment and maintain radiation safety.
• Assist patients with necessary medical forms and ensure complete medical records.
• Train Radiology Techs and Procedure Care Tech staff on fluoroscopy responsibilities.
• Sterilize and break down procedure rooms between patients and maintain clean facilities.
• Adhere to HIPAA, infection control, safety and OSHA standards.
