Job summary

AmSurg Corp is seeking a radiology technologist to provide fluoroscopy services, assist consulting radiologists, and support clinic leadership in maintaining compliance with radiology programs at the facility.

The role requires OR or pain procedure experience, ASC exposure, and at least two years in a healthcare setting performing fluoroscopy procedures. High school diploma and ARRT certification are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of accredited radiology technologist program.
• Certified radiology technician (AART).
• CPR certification required.
• Operating Room or Pain Procedure experience preferred.
• ASC experience preferred.
• Two years' experience in a healthcare setting performing fluoroscopy procedures.

Responsibilities

• Organizes time, equipment, and supplies efficiently.
• Provides comfort and privacy to patients.
• Confirms proper radiology techniques per standards.
• Assists in inventory and equipment maintenance.
• Uses shielding devices during fluoroscopy.
• Posts warning signs where fluoroscopy is used.
• Maintains radiology exposure badges and licenses.
• Annually tests lead aprons and PPE for cracks.
• Cleans and turnover of procedure room and OR between cases.
• Adheres to Code of Conduct and center policies.
• Demonstrates caring, respectful, and empathetic conduct.
• Communicates safety concerns following chain of command.
