Avala Recognized As is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to deliver imaging and fluoroscopic support across department settings. You will assist during surgical procedures, document procedures in the EHR, and maintain equipment in a compliant, safe environment.

Requirements include ARRT, LA LRT license, and BLS; two years of diagnostic radiology experience are preferred, with at least one year in surgery. Strong team collaboration is essential.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technologists' program.
• Current ARRT certification.
• Current Louisiana State License LRT.
• Current BLS certification or able to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Two years of experience preferred; proficient in diagnostic radiology; one year in surgery preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare patients for radiological procedures and take X-rays following established procedures.
• Provide fluoroscopic support during surgical procedures, assisting with image identification and documentation.
• Protect patients and staff from radiation exposure by following safety standards.
• Utilize EHR to log procedures, retrieve reports, and ensure accurate charging.
• Maintain radiology equipment and room; report malfunctions to supervisor.
• Provide orientation and training to new Radiology Techs.
