Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Fluids Analyst II to support the Cryogenic Propellant Distribution and Mass Gauging on the MK2 Crew Lander. You will generate thermo-fluids models, run analyses, and collaborate with NASA and partners across the lifecycle from design to on-console operation.

The role requires 3+ years in thermal/fluids analysis, CFD tool proficiency, and a strong grasp of fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and thermodynamics. Experience with LH2/LOX and cryogenic systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of thermal/fluids analysis experience.
• Proficiency CFD tools Thermal Desktop or Sinda/Fluint (Fluent).
• Understanding of Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, and Thermodynamics.
• Hands-on experience with first-order and Excel-level fluids calculations.

Responsibilities

• Generate and run thermo-fluids models of cryogenic propellant.
• Work with a cross functional team to advance in-space cryogenic fluid management in propulsion systems.
