Job summary

Blue Origin in California is seeking a Fluids Analyst to support Cryogenic Propellant Distribution and Mass Gauging on the MK2 Crew Lander, contributing through the full development lifecycle from design to on-console operation. You will collaborate with NASA and national partners within the Human Landing System program to help create the MK2 Crewed Lunar Lander that enables sustainable lunar presence.

The role requires a BS in Engineering and 3+ years of thermal/fluids analysis, with CFD tools

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of thermal/fluids analysis experience.
• Proficiency using CFD tools such as Thermal Desktop or Sinda/Fluint.
• Understanding of Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, and Thermodynamics.
• Hands-on experience with first-order and Excel-level fluids calculations.

Responsibilities

• Generate and run thermo-fluids models of cryogenic propellant
• Work with a cross functional team to advance the state of the art of in space cryogenic fluid management in propulsion systems
