Job summary

GROB-WERKE GmbH & Co. KG in Ohio seeks a Fluids Technician to build and implement fluid control systems into custom machines and robotic equipment.

You will interpret input from Fluid, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering to assemble hydraulics, pneumatics, lubrication, and metal cutting fluid controls. Responsibilities include fabricating valves and regulators, piping, hoses, startup and run-offs, troubleshooting, and performing related duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma minimum; Associate’s Degree or Trade School Certification in Manufacturing Technologies or similar programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and implement fluid control systems into custom GROB machines and robotic equipment.
• Assemble components: directional valves, check valves, ball valves, pressure regulators, pressure switches, filters.
• Design, bend and install custom piping.
• Measure, cut and install hoses.
• Install all components of fluid controls systems and perform startups/run-offs.
• Troubleshoot system issues.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
