Job summary

Excelion Partners LLC in Appleton, WI is seeking a Fluids Engineer to design hydraulic and pneumatic systems for heavy industrial machinery, delivering high-performance automation solutions. You will drive circuit design and pressure sizing for complex process equipment.

Responsibilities include creating detailed drawings, valve panel assembly work, sizing calculations for power units, and FAT/start-up support.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
4+ years of experience in fluid power systems design and heavy industrial equipment.
Proficiency using AutoCAD for circuit schematics.
Expertise in system sizing, flow and pressure calculations, and DFM in heavy process industries.
Strong self-motivation, problem-solving, and adaptability to new technologies.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Create detailed hydraulic and pneumatic circuit drawings and piping diagrams for heavy industrial systems.
Develop valve panel assembly drawings and oversee component selection for custom machinery.
Execute system sizing calculations for hydraulic power units, valves, and piping networks.
Perform complex engineering calculations to determine fluid flow, pressure drops, and system dynamics.
Compile installation task lists and technical specifications for manufacturing and field assembly.
Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and system start-ups as required.
