TDI Technologies, Inc. is seeking an early- to mid-career Mechanical Test & Fluid Systems Engineer to support NSWCPD's Machinery Technology and R&D organization in Philadelphia.

The role emphasizes fluid systems, flow testing, acoustics, and experimental engineering, with hands-on work in lab facilities. You will plan, design, execute, and document tests, analyze data, troubleshoot, and prepare technical reports while collaborating with lab staff and engineers on submarine HM&E components and

Qualifications

• Test planning and test design.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support test plans for hydraulic, fluid-flow, acoustic, and machinery testing of submarine HM&E components.
• Design and document test procedures, operating instructions, and safety procedures.
• Execute tests and provide hands-on engineering support during test operations.
• Review objectives, equipment and instrumentation requirements, and expected results prior to testing.
• Collaborate with lab personnel to resolve technical issues encountered during testing.
• Document observations and test results for reports and reviews.
• Coordinate with government engineers and lab staff on test readiness and scheduling.
