Job summary

JR Automation, a Hitachi Group Company, is seeking a Fluid Power Technician for on-site work in Nashville, TN. You will assemble, install and troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic systems on custom automation equipment, following schematics and customer specs while ensuring safety and quality.

The role offers hands-on project work, with up to 25% travel, and opportunities to contribute to complex builds within a collaborative engineering-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 4 years fluid power experience.
• Journeyman’s card preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Excel; ability to read schematics and fluid power symbols.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic systems per specs.
• Read blueprints and interpret schematics; identify fittings.
• Install piping and hoses and document changes.
• Support ISO/Quality standards and communicate progress.
• Maintain clean and organized work area.
