Job summary

Amatrol designs and manufactures hands-on training systems in Jeffersonville, IN. This role supports assembling mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic subassemblies and performing final quality checks in a climate-controlled facility.

You will read blueprints, wire electrical components per drawings, diagnose hydraulic/pneumatic issues, and ensure parts meet specs. The position offers daytime hours, steady work, and a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving.
• Basic plumbing or HVAC exposure.
• Confidence reading English prints/specs.
• Consistent attendance and ability to start at 6:00 a.m.
• Preferred: hydraulic and pneumatic hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic subassemblies and full systems.
• Wire electrical components per drawings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Diagnose and correct hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical issues.
• Inspect for defects and replace/repair components as needed.
• Test, calibrate, and complete final quality checks.

Your Core Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic subassemblies and full systems
• Wire electrical components per drawings

Career Levels & Pay

• Level 1 - $18.00-$20.00/hr: Great fit if you have basic mechanical, plumbing, or assembly experience and want to grow your skills.
• Level 2 - $20.00-$22.00/hr: For experienced assemblers strong in hydraulics, pneumatics, troubleshooting, and blueprint reading who can work independently on complex builds.
