Job summary

Mycronic, a global high-tech company, is seeking an experienced Field Applications Engineer, Fluid Dispensing to join Axxon, part of our High Volume Division in San Jose, CA. You will be the customer-facing technical expert, supporting demonstrations, process development, and post-sales assistance to ensure system performance.

You will diagnose issues, offer high-level process guidance, and build strong customer relationships by helping them achieve optimal results with our fluid dispensing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred.
• 2–3 years of fluid applications or customer-facing engineering.
• Experience with conformal coating or SMT processes.

Responsibilities

• Handles customer day-to-day calls and communications via email, phone, and in person.
• Provides post-sales process and system support.
• Troubleshoots machine issues over the phone or at the customer site.
• Assists in process optimization at customer site or remotely.
• Interacts with overseas factory to resolve issues.
• Conducts system demos at the office with or without the customer, and reports.
• Develops and optimizes applications to meet client objectives.
• Acts as technical advisor to Sales and Service teams.
• Supports discussions with overseas factory for new project requirements.
• Demonstrates systems at tradeshows.
• Contributes to system manuals and documentation.
• Supports the sales team during customer meetings.
• Communicates with customers to understand new project requirements.
• Prepares system configurations to be quoted.
• Collects feedback for hardware and software improvements.
