Job summary

Mycronic is seeking a Field Applications Engineer (Fluid Dispensing) to be the customer-facing engineer for demos, system buyoffs, and process development. Based in Milwaukee, WI, you will support pre-sales, machine demonstrations, and post-sales troubleshooting to ensure customer success.

The role requires a technical degree and 2–3 years in fluid applications or customer-facing projects, with familiarity in conformal coating or SMT processes. Travel to training destinations may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry or Computer Engineering or related field preferred.
• 2-3 years of fluid applications/process engineering or field where interacting with customers in technical projects preferred.
• Industry-specific experience familiar with Conformal Coating or SMT processes.
• Experience in working with chemicals and solvents preferred.
• Understanding of basic electronics to be used during troubleshooting.
• Strong customer service, sales, and marketing experience skills.

Responsibilities

• Handles customer day-to-day calls and concerns via email, phone, and in-person when required.
• Provides post-sales process and system support.
• Assists in process optimization at customer site or over the phone or email.
• Conducts system demos at the office with the customer present or by processing parts and returning finished parts with a detailed report.
• Develops and optimizes applications to accomplish client objectives and user needs.
• Acts as a technical advisor to Sales and Service groups.
• Contributes to system manuals and other documentation.
• Installs machines at customer facility.
