Job summary

Mycronic is seeking a Field Applications Engineer (Fluid Dispensing) in San Jose, CA to support demos, system buyoffs, and process development. You will interact with customers pre- and post-sales, configure systems for quotes, and provide solutions to machine issues.

Travel to China and Mexico for training is possible. Ideal candidates have a technical degree and 2-3 years in fluid applications or customer-facing projects, with knowledge of conformal coating or SMT processes and experience with

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field; preferred in Engineering, Chemistry or Computer Engineering
2-3 years of fluid applications/process engineering or customer-facing technical projects
Industry experience in Conformal Coating or SMT processes
Experience working with chemicals and solvents
Understanding of basic electronics for troubleshooting
Strong customer service, sales, and marketing experience skills

Responsibilities

Handle day-to-day customer calls and concerns via email, phone, or in-person as needed
Provide post-sales process and system support
Assist in process optimization at customer site or via phone/email
Conduct system demos at the office with the customer present or via processed parts
Develop and optimize applications to meet client objectives
Act as technical advisor to Sales and Service groups
Contribute to system manuals and documentation
Install machines at customer facilities
