Job summary

CIRCOR Leslie Controls, Inc., based in Tampa, FL, is seeking a Design Engineer II to design specialized fluid-control components using CAD tools. You will collaborate with sales, engineering, and supply to develop feasible designs, create BOMs, drawings, models, and test procedures.

You will participate in design validation, perform basic FEA/CFD work, and assist in process improvements for cost and performance. A Mechanical Engineering degree and 2 years of design experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 2 years mechanical design or valve design experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical specifications for fluid control devices with Sales/Engineering management.
• Create design layouts, proposal drawings, models or data for layout by a designer.
• Provide basic FEA/CFD analyses as required by assignments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality product realization.
