Job summary

CIRCOR in Tampa, FL, seeks a Design Engineer II to contribute to the design and evaluation of production processes for both new and existing fluid control products.

You will develop technical specifications with Sales and Engineering, perform FEA and CFD analyses, and prepare drawings, BOMs, and test procedures, while collaborating across departments to ensure reliable manufacturing results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 2+ years of mechanical design experience preferred (valves or components).
• ASME B16.5 & B16.34 knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical specifications for fluid control devices.
• Review RFQ and specifications to develop preliminary design concepts.
• Provide design layouts, drawings, and models for manufacturing use.
• Perform stress, thermal, fluid analyses and basic CFD/FEA as required.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality product realization.
