ChampionX seeks a Flowback Specialist to join our field team in the Delaware Basin. You will be the sole ChampionX representative on site, acting as the ambassador for our value with customers. Shifts range from 10–12 hours with a rotating schedule set by management.

The role requires on-site work with occasional overnight travel (up to 10%) and a 14-days-on/7-days-off rotation. You will support sales, start-ups, troubleshooting, testing, and equipment maintenance in field settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s Degree or Trade School Certification preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently on field service tasks.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Immigration sponsorship not offered for this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine service support to Sales Representatives in strategic district accounts to execute customer system assurance plans.
• Assist with start-ups of new applications at existing and new accounts.
• Provide technical support to customers; identify and resolve pain points, escalate as needed.
• Perform chemistry tests, log and report data, and maintain inventories at assigned accounts.
• Install, calibrate, and maintain chemical feed equipment and process monitoring equipment at customer sites.
• Operate company vehicle to travel to customer sites within the assigned territory.

What You Will Do:

This role puts the candidate at the frontline on customer accounts, being the sole ChampionX employee on site, who will act as an ambassador showcasing the value we bring to our customers. Shifts can range from 10- 12 hours long; therefore the safe execution of your tasks is of paramount importance. This position will follow a rotating schedule that will be determined by management.

What You Will Do:

• Provide routine service support to Sales Representatives in strategic district accounts to execute agreed upon customer system assurance plans.
• Assist Sales Representatives with start-ups of new applications in both existing customers and in new accounts.
• Provide technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer pain points, escalating as required.
• Execute required chemistry tests, log, and report data, and maintain product inventories at assigned customer accounts.
• Install, calibrate, and maintain chemical feed equipment and process monitoring equipment at assigned customer accounts.
• Operate company vehicle to travel to customer sites within assigned sales territory.

Position Details:

• This position requires overnight work.
• Up to 10% overnight travel for training and other company initiatives.
• Work Schedule: 6am - 6 pm or 6pm - 6am

Basic/Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
• Immigration sponsorship not offered for this role
• Must be able to work rotation of 14 days on and 7 days off

Physical Demands:

• Must have the ability to Lift/Push/Pull/Carry up to 55 pounds chest high.
• Role is deemed safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing.
• Must be able to pass Pulmonary Function Test & wear respirator
• Participate in annual respirator program (clean shaved)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree or Trade School Certification
• 2 years of successful technical service or field sales support experience
• Must have a strong mechanical aptitude
• Water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience
• Working knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems.
• Practical computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn internal business systems and business specific mobile applications)
• History of working in a field that required autonomy and self-motivation
• Prior experience that demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to multi-task
