Job summary

ChampionX is seeking a Flowback Specialist in the Delaware Basin, NM, to provide frontline on-site service for customer accounts. This role requires a safe, hands-on approach with chemistry testing, equipment installation, and technical support.

Expect 14 days on/7 days off rotation and potential overnight travel. A high school diploma is required, with a preference for technical credentials and mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s Degree or trade school certification preferred.
• 2 years of technical service or field sales support experience is desirable.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with water treatment or specialty chemicals helpful.
• Willingness to travel overnight up to 10% and work a rotating schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine service support to Sales Representatives in strategic accounts.
• Assist with startups of new applications in existing and new accounts.
• Provide technical support, identify and resolve client pain points, escalate as needed.
• Perform chemistry tests, log and report data, maintain inventories at customer sites.
• Install, calibrate, and maintain chemical feed and process monitoring equipment.
• Operate company vehicle to travel to customer sites within the sales territory.

Shifts can range from 10- 12 hours long; therefore the safe execution of your tasks is of paramount importance. **This position will follow a rotating schedule that will be determined by management.** **What You Will Do:*** Provide routine service support to Sales Representatives in strategic district accounts to execute agreed upon customer system assurance plans.* Assist Sales Representatives with start-ups of new applications in both existing customers and in new accounts.* Provide technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer pain points, escalating as required.* Execute required chemistry tests, log, and report data, and maintain product inventories at assigned customer accounts.* Install, calibrate, and maintain chemical feed equipment and process monitoring equipment at assigned customer accounts.* Operate company vehicle to travel to customer sites within assigned sales territory **Position Details:*** This position requires overnight work.* Up to 10% overnight travel for training and other company initiatives.* Work Schedule: 6am - 6 pm or 6pm - 6am **Basic/Minimum Qualifications:*** High School Diploma or equivalent* Must have a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record* Immigration sponsorship not offered for this role* Must be able to work rotation of 14 days on and 7 days off **Physical Demands:*** Must have the ability to Lift/Push/Pull/Carry up to 55 pounds chest high.* Role is deemed safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing.* Must be able to pass Pulmonary Function Test & wear respirator* Participate in annual respirator program (clean shaved) **Preferred Qualifications:*** Associate’s Degree or Trade School Certification* 2 years of successful technical service or field sales support experience* Must have a strong mechanical aptitude* Water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience* Working knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems.* Practical computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn internal business systems and business specific mobile applications)* History of working in a field that required autonomy and self-motivation* Prior experience that demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to multi-task **About Us:**ChampionX is now part of SLB, a global technology company driving energy innovation for a balanced planet.
