Job summary

Frog Furnishings is seeking a Machine Operator- Flow Molding for the night shift to maintain continuous production. You will manage start-up/shut-down of the extruder, monitor cooling, and ensure molds are ready for production while complying with quality expectations.

The role requires reading comprehension, ability to operate hand tools, and forklift operation with possible training. Applicants should be prepared for a physically demanding environment with 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Entry level position requiring a high school diploma.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Must be able to operate hand tools and a forklift with proper certification or training.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous operation of the flow molding process with proper start-up and shut down of the extruder and cooling system.
• Load raw materials, weigh/add color and additives, detect material or equipment flaws and adjust as needed.
• Inspect finished parts, record inspections, and maintain production data sheets.
