Job summary

PlayCore Holdings, Inc. in Olathe, KS is seeking a Machine Operator - Flow Mold (Days) to support the flow molding process. This on-site role runs a 12-hour shift from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, with a starting rate of $19 per hour.

The operator will manage start-up/shut-down procedures, load materials, inspect parts, and keep accurate production records. Forklift certification is required or must be obtained through company training.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and follow simple instructions, memos, and notices.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measuring and inspection.
• Ability to operate common hand tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper setup/start-up and shutdown of the flow mold extruder and cooling system.
• Load raw materials, weigh/add color and additives; detect material or equipment flaws and adjust as needed.
• Stage empty molds, monitor flow and pressure, fill molds, move to cooling, unload finished parts.
• Visually inspect finished parts and measure with calipers, micrometers, and other gauges; record inspection data.
• Maintain production setup records, process sheets, and quality inspection reports.
• Complete inventory tags and follow all QA requirements.
• Operate forklift and maintain certification as required by the company.
