Job summary

PlayCore is seeking a Flow Mold Operator to ensure continuous operation of the flow molding process. You will start up and shut down the extruder, monitor cooling systems, and verify molds are functioning correctly.

Responsibilities include loading raw materials, weighing additives, inspecting parts with precise measuring tools, and recording production data. Forklift operation certification or training may be required.

• Requires ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to employees.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous operation of the flow molding process, startup and shutdown of the extruder and cooling system.
• Load raw materials, weigh/add color and additives, detect material or equipment flaws, and make required adjustments to maintain quality.
• Stage empty molds, monitor flow and pressure, fill molds, move to cooling, and remove finished product.
• Visually inspect finished parts, measure with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and tape measures; record data and determine specification compliance.
• Maintain production setup records, data sheets, SPC/inspection reports, and inventory tags.
• Follow quality inspection requirements and operate forklift (certification or training provided).
