Job summary

Harvard Medical School is seeking a Flow Cytometry Operator to join the Flow Cytometry Core Facility. You will operate and maintain cytometers, sort cells, and support experimental design for researchers across HMS. The role includes facility administration and training for a motivated candidate.

The position is a two-year term, with standard hours and visa sponsorship not provided. Prior flow cytometry experience and a Life Sciences degree are required.

Qualifications

• College background or equivalent work experience.
• One to two years of related experience in flow cytometry or related analysis.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and perform quality control on flow cytometers and cell sorters.
• Perform cell sorting and advise on experimental design and execution.
• Participate in general administrative duties for facility operations.
• Collaborate with researchers across HMS departments.
