The Cytometry and Cell Sorting Core at Baylor College of Medicine is looking for a highly motivated individual to be part of the High Parameter Cytometry Unit. The Flow Cytometry Specialist will be responsible for coordinating the high parameter, imaging, and spectral cytometers. This person will be responsible for the QA/QC of the instruments, troubleshooting, operations, interaction with service engineers and developing SOPs. Will be cross trained for use of all multiparametric analyzers and sorters.
The Advanced Technology Cores is part of the Office of Research. It focuses on aiding researchers with advanced technologies and techniques to accommodate cutting edge research. The Cytometry and Cell Sorting Core facility brings cytometry applications and education to researchers. This position is located at Main BCM in the Texas Medical Center.
