Job summary

Texas Oncology in Austin Midtown is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) to join our flow cytometry team. This full-time, Monday–Friday position runs 10am–6:30pm with no weekends, call, or major holidays. The role can be hired at level 1, 2 or Sr based on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related health care field is required.
• AMT, ASCP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Experience with Flow cytometry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate and high complexity laboratory testing.
• Maintain and operate laboratory equipment and QC activities.
• Assist with specimen collection and patient flow as needed.
• Train staff in laboratory procedures.
