The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a Flow Cytometry Laboratory Coordinator to manage the flow cytometry facility, supervise staff, and coordinate user support and education activities. This role emphasizes quality, safety, and compliance in everyday operations to support independent research initiatives.

Ideal candidates will have education and experience in flow cytometry operations, instrumentation oversight, training, and collaboration with researchers.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor's Degree.
• Four years flow cytometry experience.
• Preferred: research-oriented flow cytometry background and supervisory experience.
• Experience with multiple flow cytometry platforms and data analysis software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operation of the flow cytometry facility.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and logging of supplies and reagents.
• Administer quality assurance, safety, and related administrative functions.
• Operate analytical and sorting flow cytometers; calibrate and troubleshoot equipment.
• Develop and maintain SOPs; manage staff work schedules and training.
• Support study implementation and collaboration with investigators.
