Job summary

Labcorp in Burlington, NC is seeking a Flow Cytometry Diagnostic Specialist Cell Immunology to join our team. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am -5:30pm.

Responsibilities include developing and validating flow cytometry panels for diagnostic needs and interpreting multi-color data to support patient diagnosis. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in a chemical/biological science with 2 years of clinical lab experience; ASCP/AMT certification is preferred, and FlowJo/Kaluza expertise is

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology.
• 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a clinical diagnostic setting.
• ASCP or AMT certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and implement new flow cytometry panels for diagnostic needs.
• Analyze and interpret multi-color flow cytometry data for diagnostic purposes.
• Maintain and troubleshoot flow cytometers to ensure data integrity.
• Prepare data summaries, reports and SOPs; participate in quality control and process improvements.
• Provide training and mentorship to laboratory staff on flow cytometry techniques.
