Job summary

The Whitehead Institute in Greenville, South Carolina, seeks a Technical Assistant I/II to help oversee daily operations of the FACS BSL2 core cytometry facility. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate high-quality, high-speed cell sorting for researchers.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled instrument maintenance and data backup.
• Conduct daily quality control and monitor instrument performance.
• Troubleshoot sorters and associated software; liaise with vendor service engineers.
• Assist researchers with scheduling and training; orient new users to the lab.
