Precision Medicine Group is seeking an Associate Scientist to work on flow cytometry projects, develop and validate assays, and execute experiments in a fast-paced environment in Frederick, MD. You will mentor junior staff and contribute to SOP development and data presentations.

The role emphasizes strong data analysis, report preparation, and collaboration with clients and internal teams. A discretionary annual bonus and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Life Sciences with 2+ years of lab experience or Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years of lab experience.
• Experience with flow cytometry using whole blood or isolated cells.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform flow cytometry primarily, as well as other immune assays.
• Perform experiments, independently analyze and present data.
• Assist in establishing and improving all procedures and required SOP documentation.
• Identify, update and implement emerging laboratory techniques.
• Maintain and support safe lab practices and environment.
• Act as a scientific resource externally to clients and internally.
• Assist with writing, reviewing and editing contract and grant applications/proposals.
• May present completed work at scientific meetings and in publications.
• Other duties as assigned.
