****$5,000 SIGN ON BONUS FOR EXTERNAL CANDIDATES****

Are you an experienced Clinical Lab Professional? Are you looking to embark on a new challenge in your career? If so, Labcorp wants to speak with you about an exciting opportunity to join our team as a US Remote Flow Cytometry Analyst with occasional travel to RTP, NC. In this position you will work in a fast paced, customer focused, and challenging environment, and will be a part of our overall mission at Labcorp: “Improving Health, Improving Lives”.

Work Schedule: 2nd shift Tuesday-Saturday 12:00pm-8:30 pm

All remote analysts are required to attend meetings onsite.

• Local analysts would be expected to attend 4 meetings per year.

• Analysts who are not local would have travel expenses approved for 2 meetings per year.

Responsibilities:

• Performs routine high complexity analyses and interpretations of flow cytometry dot plots in the testing of leukemia/lymphoma specimens.

• Properly performs and documents quality assurance, quality control.

• Operates equipment as needed to complete testing.

• Sample preparation performed as needed.

• Properly prioritizes samples according to policy.

• Adheres to all safety, quality control and documentation policies.

• Recognizes problems that may adversely affect patient care and takes appropriate action.

• Participates in required Continuing Education activities.

• Serves as an example and resource to other testing laboratory personnel.

• Assists in training of personnel.

• Shows willingness to perform duties until they are complete.

• Additional duties as assigned.

Work From Home Requirements:

• The candidate must have a home office space that is a dedicated room, not shared with other people, and meets HIPAA compliance.

• The candidate must agree to have their home address added to reports of cases you analyze or report. This is a CMS requirement.

• Wired or wireless internet at a minimum speed of 100 mb/sec is required.

• The candidate must have the ability to work remotely effectively as required in a fast-paced, multi-site environment with demonstrated ability to juggle competing priorities and demands.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or meet local regulatory (CLIA & State) requirements.

• Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory testing experience is required.

• Experience in Flow Cytometry is highly preferred.

• MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), CLS(NCA) or SCYM(ASCP) certification is a plus.

• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

• Proficient with computers; Familiarity with laboratory information systems is a plus.

• High level of attention to detail along with strong communication and organizational skills.

• Must be able to pass a standardized color vision screen.

• Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs.

Pay Range: $30-35 per hour
