Job summary

Target is seeking an Operations Manager for its Distribution and Receive Centers in New Jersey. The role focuses on leading teams, ensuring safety, and driving productivity across fast-paced logistics operations.

Responsibilities include managing cross-functional processes, implementing process improvements, and maintaining adherence to policies and budgets while fostering teamwork and accountability.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated leadership ability, with the ability to engage and motivate others
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Good reasoning, conflict-management, and analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to access all areas of the Distribution Center, including the mezzanine platforms
• Able to read and interpret necessary policies and procedures to perform updates and operate systems within the Distribution Center, e.g. traversing conveyor crossovers
