Job summary

The State Organizer in Florida with the Union for Reform Judaism builds relationships, develops leaders, and organizes Reform Jewish communities to act for justice rooted in Jewish values. You will work with clergy, congregational leaders, and community members to create a strong statewide network and advance organizing campaigns.

You will connect Florida leaders to RAC's national campaigns and the broader Reform Movement, contributing to training, planning, and using data to inform decisions

Responsibilities

• Build and strengthen a statewide network of clergy, congregational leaders, and community members who can organize and act together.
• Identify, develop, and coach leaders to strengthen their organizing skills and take on responsibility.
• Deepen congregational engagement by building relationships across Florida and creating opportunities for leaders to connect and collaborate.
• Partner with leaders to identify issues and develop organizing campaigns grounded in community interests and Jewish values.
• Equip leaders to organize others by helping them build teams, lead meetings, and move people to action.
• Build relationships with community partners and coalitions that strengthen RAC Florida's ability to advance shared goals.
• Use organizing data and learning to understand engagement, leadership development, campaign progress and inform future work.
